While we can sometimes take orders up until the day before a hatch, we recommend placing your order as soon as possible to ensure we have availability for the breeds you want on your preferred hatch day. If you are ordering 18-week-old ‘Ready-To-Lay’ pullets available each spring and fall we recommend placing your at least 2 months in advance as these sell out quickly!

Once your order has left our hatchery it takes 1-2 days for your local post office to receive it. When your chicks arrive at the post office they will contact you so you can pick them up. When placing your order it’s imperative you enter the best contact phone number so they can reach you in a timely fashion.

Yes, we are open from 9am-5pm on hatch days (Wednesdays) when you can pick up any orders you’ve placed for that week.

We strive to time our hatches precisely to make sure we deliver the freshest chicks to you so we only have chicks available on Wednesdays and don’t always have extras available to sell once we’ve fulfilled all of our orders. For this reason, we recommend placing your order in advance to make sure we have what you are looking for!

The packing slip included in your order has all of the necessary information printed in the logos and disclaimers.

If you experience any death loss within 48 hours of receiving your order we will replace the lost chicks at the next available hatch date or provide you with a refund. Please remember, all losses must be reported to us within 48 hours of receiving your order by calling 920-478-2053.

While there is no exact science to perfect this, our sexing is 98% accurate. If by chance you receive the wrong sex bird we would love to make it right by sending you a replacement bird or giving you a credit on your next order, just give us a call.
